The story so far
Achilles chose a short glorious life over a long obscure one, then spent the Iliad proving the choice correct — until Patroclus died in his armor, and rage became grief became the death of Hector.
Happening now
He walks the Elysian fields now, or the underworld's hero quarter — the songs disagree, which annoys him. He still trains; some habits outlive death.
What may come
His son Neoptolemus carried his armor to Troy's fall. The armor is still out there somewhere, waiting for shoulders worthy of it.
