The story so far
Ares is war without the poetry: the screaming, the breaking, the part the songs skip. The Trojans prayed to him and the Greeks to Athena, and both sides learned the difference between war and winning.
Happening now
He has been seen on mortal battlefields again — not starting wars, just... attending. The other gods pretend not to notice. Athena notices enough for everyone.
