The living story
The story so far
Dionysus was born from a mortal mother who looked at Zeus's true form and burst into flame; Zeus sewed the infant into his thigh and birthed him twice. He marched to Olympus with satyrs and nymphs, and Hestia gave him her throne.
Happening now
He runs the theater festival and the vintage, often at the same time. His satyrs staff every tavern in the Remembered World, and his wine loosens the tongues the oracles need.
What may come
He descended to the underworld and brought his mother back — the only god to commute. The dead still talk about the parade.
