The story so far
Ladon, son of Phorcys and Ceto (or of Typhon and Echidna — the songs vary), twined around the apple tree at the world's edge and never slept. Heracles shot him from afar for the eleventh labor; the Hesperides mourned.
Happening now
Zeus set him among the stars as Draco, coiled around the pole. He still doesn't sleep; constellations don't need to.
