The story so far
Orion, the giant huntsman, walked the Aegean's floor and hunted with Artemis as her companion — until the scorpion, sent by Gaia (or Apollo's trick, the songs vary), stung his heel. Artemis set him among the stars, where the Scorpion still chases him.
Happening now
He rises in winter, belt first, hunted forever by Scorpius. Artemis watches from the moon; the songs say she still mourns the aim.
