The story so far
Psyche, the mortal too beautiful for Aphrodite's comfort, endured the goddess's impossible trials — sorting grain with ants, fetching golden wool, descending for Persephone's beauty — and opened the forbidden box. Eros woke her; Zeus made her immortal.
