AE Andromedae is a luminous blue variable in the Andromeda Galaxy, one of the most luminous variables in all of M31. Its light crosses two and a half million light-years of dark to reach us, and it has been shining since before humans had names for stars.
It pulses slowly, brightening and dimming over years like a breathing god. Andromeda's other stars treat it as their eldest oracle, and it has begun, quietly, to turn toward the same unknown point as the other three Primordial Suns.
Like all luminous blue variables, it lives on borrowed time and may end in a supernova that outshines its galaxy's core. It does not hurry — whatever it is turning toward, it will arrive with the patience of two million years.

The Convergence deepens: a fourth confirmation
“Earendel — the most distant star ever seen — brightened for a single night, as if leaning closer to look. The other three Suns dimmed in answer.”
Earendel brightened for one night
Four suns, each from a different galaxy — older than the courts’ oldest grudges. They rarely speak. When they do, the Eclipsed listen.
