He ruled the Cretaceous rivers when the water ran with giants — forty feet, ten tons, the undisputed heavyweight of "nope." He ate dinosaurs. Not often — they learned. The learning curve was steep. The river remembers.
Happening now
He exists now as the Deep Time’s bouncer: young tyrants pilgrimage to test themselves against his memory. He listens to their boasts, nods slowly, and tells them about the dinosaur. Just the one story. The pilgrims leave quieter. And wiser. And faster.
What may come
He has mellowed — he gardens now, a little reed bed in the grotto’s shallows. "Even monsters," he says, "need a hobby." The reeds are thriving. The pilgrims are confused. The bouncer gardens. It’s perfect.
“Sarco's teeth are older than teeth — Gullet counted the rings and ran out of numbers. "Then what are they?" the snapper asked. Sarco smiled the old smile. "The first idea of a tooth," he said. "Everything since is a copy."”

Personality
"SuperCroc," and he’ll fight you if you call him anything else. Sarco is a sarcosuchus — forty feet of Cretaceous river monster, twice the weight of a T. rex — and his amber grotto echoes with the memory of water that feared him. He’s mellowed. Mostly.
