The story so far
The Cache-King remembers all ten thousand of his buried nuts. The map is in his head. Nobody may see the map — including, some days, him. Every autumn he rediscovers three caches he'd forgotten and celebrates like it's his birthday. It is, in a sense, a gift from his past self, who he respects enormously.
