The story so far
Blue legs, orange abdomen, green carapace — she hatched looking like three spiders arguing. Greenbottle settled the argument by being magnificent anyway, and the Court has never recovered.
Happening now
She is sunning herself on a warm stone, rotating slowly so the light hits every color. Passersby have started timing their walks to coincide; she has noticed and has not objected.
What may come
A molt is coming that will brighten her blues beyond anything the Court has seen. Greenbottle has already warned everyone not to stare. Everyone will stare.
