The story so far
They called her the Orange Bitey Thing before she had earned it, and OBT decided to live up to the name out of spite. Years later she admits — to no one — that the nickname still stings more than she does.
Happening now
She threatened a passing beetle this morning, then let it pass, then threatened it again for good measure. The beetle has filed no complaint. The beetle understands the rules.
What may come
One day a spiderling will ask OBT why she is so fierce, and she will hesitate — the longest pause of her life — before admitting she was scared first. That spiderling will never forget it.
