The story so far
Sunny must be touching you at all times. This is not a preference; the family is now convinced it is in the breed standard. He leans, he drapes, he sleeps with his chin on your foot like a weighted blanket that loves you. He runs like the wind and cuddles like a promise — the happiest dog alive, daily, on purpose, as a discipline.
Happening now
He has started greeting the mailman with the full-body lean, and the mailman — a man who has met ten thousand dogs — now plans his route around it. Sunny considers this a successful diplomatic mission.

The baby is learning to walk. Sunny has appointed himself the baby's personal crash pad, positioning himself beneath every wobble. The baby has fallen on Sunny fourteen times. Sunny has never moved.
