“At the crossroads past the third dune, she leaves small lightning-scorched stones shaped like question marks.”
She visits one crossroads most often

“Playful and theatrical, she circles a riddle three times before letting it land, and her signature behavior is striking her eagle wings wide to crown a solved riddle in a burst of lightning.”
A Storm spark of The Kindled
an open question
Born of a Stormborn queen and the riddler of Thebes, Riddlewind grew up in two worlds at once: the palace of thunder and the crossroads where questions are asked. She learned to crown herself in lightning before she learned to read — and she learned to read before she ever gave a straight answer.
She has taken to haunting the storm-line between the realms, offering travelers a bargain the old Sphinx would recognize: answer well, and walk dry through any weather.
Keepers say she is quietly composing a riddle no one has solved yet, one she intends to ask the storm itself. If the storm answers, she will be the first to ever hear it speak back.

Her mother checks on her from far away
“She keeps one riddle locked behind her wings. The one who answers it, she says, will have asked a question back — and that has never happened.”
A riddle she has never asked twice
