The story so far
Sivatherium giganteum: the antlered giraffe — a short-necked giraffid the size of an elephant, with ossicones branched like antlers and shoulders humped like a moose. Antlergiraffe has the build and the temperament: in the Undertow he is the Half-Remembered's mediator, the one both sides trust. The antlers look formidable. He's never lowered them at anyone. That's the point. 'The antlers,' he says, 'are for the people who need to see strength. The listening is for the people who need it.' The faction's sacrament is secrecy; Antlergiraffe's is the confidence — what's told to the mediator stays with the mediator. It always has.
