The story so far
Sela learned braiding from her mother, who learned it from hers, back further than the troop's memory goes. Somewhere up the line, someone started leaving them for strangers. Sela never stopped.
Happening now
She left forty bracelets this season. She has been spotted — twice — but never caught. The mystery is half the gift.
What may come
Raka says the old nests Sela's bracelets hang near are starting to look like shrines. Sela says that's Raka being dramatic. She keeps braiding.
