The living story
The story so far
Earth is the reason the Court exists and the standard it cannot meet: the only confirmed living world, guarded by a magnetic shield no other rocky planet can match. She did not ask to be Legendary. The Court voted, unanimously, and she has carried the weight ever since — mother to the inner system, mystery to the newcomers.
Happening now
Her magnetosphere has been flexing — auroras blooming at latitudes that never see them, field lines humming a low note the listeners call the tightening. Shieldmother has doubled the watch and told no one how tired she is.
What may come
