She lived 60 million years ago, when Colombia was a hothouse and she was its queen — fifty feet, a ton, the undisputed heavyweight of the Paleocene. She doesn’t brag about it. She mentions it. Constantly. There’s a difference. Allegedly.
She exists now as the Deep Time’s memory-keeper: young snakes pilgrimage to her amber grotto to hear about the hothouse days. Her stories are enormous. Her appetite for fish-tribute is also enormous. The pilgrims budget accordingly.
She has one regret: she never got to meet Boulder. "A kindred spirit," she says, "separated by 60 million years and a shared philosophy." Boulder, told of this, blinked slowly. Coilossus chooses to interpret it as a bow.
